This notice explains what personal information The Husainy Trust collects through this website, why, and how we look after it. Last updated: October 2026.
When you send us a message, confirm a donation or ask about volunteering or a booking, we collect what you choose to give us: usually your name, email address, phone number and your message. For donations we may also collect the amount, your payment reference and, if you want a tax receipt, your PAN.
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs (such as your browser type and the pages visited) to keep the site secure and working.
We use your information only to reply to you, to record and acknowledge donations and issue receipts, to arrange volunteering, partnerships and ground bookings, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
Donations and payments are made directly to the Trust’s bank account by bank transfer or UPI. This website does not collect or store any card or bank login details.
Only authorised Trust staff and volunteers who need it. Messages sent through the website’s forms are delivered to the Trust’s email by a form service (FormSubmit). We may share information if the law requires it.
This website is not meant to collect information from children. Information about children in our care is kept confidential and is never published without consent.
Only as long as needed for the purpose it was given, and for as long as the law requires us to keep financial and donation records.
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you have given us, or ask us to stop contacting you, by writing to husainytrust@gmail.com or calling +91 44 2851 4424.
We may update this notice from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
